Franco-American legend

This Saturday, April 12th, we went to see "Jo & Josephine Baker". This musical was about the romance between the promoter "Jo" and the famous African American singer and artist "Josephine Baker".

Josephine Baker was an icon during the 30's and 40's. Today, she is still considered, by the Parisians, to be one of the most loved American artists.

The Theatre Daunou (which is also a hotel), has a beautiful Art Deco interior and it is located in downtown Paris, next to the famous Opera Garnier. We got the perfect seats, right in the middle and 5 rows from the stage. The sound was perfect and the main character "Jo" made our night out of the ordinary.

After the theatre, we dined at the Canadian Pub on le Quai de la Seine- here Ricardo tried his first Canadian caesar cocktail amidst the hockey gear pinned on the walls.

T'was a perfect night.
